Not many people know this and I rarely talk about it but for almost four years I traveled around the country with hubby in a Mayflower 18 wheel tractor trailer. I like to say that I have visited 48 of the 50 states (minus Alaska and Maine) but the truth is I mostly visited truck stops in every state.
It was a hard time and not a whole lot of fun. I learned to do physical work and to appreciate a 9 to 5 job, a hot shower and a real bed.
