I'll be honest, I really do not find much joy in cooking. I do however enjoy eating and sometimes looking at pictures of food and watching the Food Channel (Iron Chef is a favorite).
I have been a fan of "The Barefoot Contessa" for awhile, ever since I found out she was Jewish and unashamedly makes the simple dishes of my youth. Of course when she makes them they are not-so-simple anymore! I credit her with greatly improving my own chopped liver recipe with the addition of thyme.
This issue of Good Housekeeping arrived yesterday and I am eager to try her Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme recipe for Thanksgiving turkey this year. What fan of Simon & Garfunkel wouldn't be intrigued?
