I made this quilt about 12 years ago. I cut every square and stitched every single piece by hand (needle and thread, no machine) including the batting and the backing. It is no work of art, like my friend Jennifer's quilts, but it is soft and sturdy and it is my blankie of choice whenever I am sick.
You may have noticed, there is no particular order to my arrangement of the little squares, and all the patterns were chosen for no other reason other than I liked them (except the ones Jennifer donated which I felt I had to use).
There are many folks who say a quilt is a metaphor for Life itself.
