Adventures in Eating

I've tried it all - from Crab Rangoon to Rocky Mountain Oysters. Frog legs? Raw fish? Alligator? Escargot? No problemo for this gal!

"Gullyah"

When I was young my father would sometimes get lucky and procure the ingredients for an Old World favorite. Calf's Foot Jelly ("gullyah") that filled the house with smells of garlic. Boiled Lungs (the lungs puffing up to many times their original size as they filled with water). Once he made a Stuffed Miltz (spleen).


Do you think that could be when I learned to be fearless about food??
