Mother Nature reminds us that we pay a price for living in Paradise - hurricane season. As I wait for the updates from NOAA that are tracking Hurricane Irene's march to South Florida, I'm remembering the 1948 classic Key Largo starring Bogie and Bacall about falling in love and having big scary adventure in the midst of a hurricane.
Of course that leads me to think of that 1982 tune of the same name Key Largo about falling in love in a cold climate (probably Chicago!)
Back to reality, the 5 am advisory is out. Irene may miss us by a short hair!
