Andy Williams singing Moon River sent more chills down my spine in the 1960s than all the Beatles and Rolling Stones songs put together. I knew that when I married I would want my hubby to be my "Huckleberry friend", as in:
Two drifters, off to see the world, there's such a lot of world to see.
We're after the same rainbow's end, waiting 'round the bend, my Huckleberry friend,
Moon River and me...
And that's why I chose Moon River for our first married dance together.
